Over the years the traditionally developed mixed-farm consisting of wine-growing, agriculture and gastronomy, had been steadily expanding.

Following a regional land-reform, it was resolved in 1965 to relocate the agriculture sector to a site above the village, and in the years thereafter the farm continued its growth.

However, also here we were subject to the hard-felt consequences of a state-regulated market at the beginning of the nineties, when prices for agricultural produce dropped drastically through over-production.

Subsequently, the family took the initiative of avoiding the regulated middlemens' market and sold its produce directly from the farm to the consumer.

Our customers enjoy healthy, top quality meat and meat-produce without fear of BSE or other diseases.

The old, traditional family recipe and production methods and salting and spicing are still the trade-mark for our wholesome and delicious sausages.

Naturally, we do not deny the guests of Gasthof Stahl this delicacy, which can be found on our menu along with items like fresh farmyard eggs, and meat and meat-produce from strictly controlled farm production.
